The farms are located within the Natural Park of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona, declared Natural Park on 10 March 2011. It has an area of 149.463 hectares; in addition to other 1,156 has that correspond to the outlying areas of protection.
The Natural Park of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona is located in the southwestern portion of the province of Ciudad Real, in the municipalities of Almodóvar del Campo, Brazatortas, Cabezarrubias of port, Fuencaliente, Hinojosas of Calatrava, Mestanza, San Lorenzo de Calatrava and Solana del Pino. Our farms are included in the municipalities of Almodóvar del Campo and Brazatortas.
Among the natural values that have served to the declaration as a Natural Park, are:
- The fauna. This Natural Park is part of the critical areas for species as emblematic as the Iberian imperial eagle, the black vulture, black stork and the Iberian lynx.
- The flora and vegetation. Within them, the great quality of pasture makes it a special spot for the extensive rearing of cattle.
- The geology and landscape, which include sickles, volcanic formations, wetlands, natural waterfalls, etc … In addition to numerous natural monuments.
